Hi all,

Just wanted to let you all know that the FUEL CGI Trailer and a whole new batch of screenshots have just been released.

The video is now available to download from the FUEL website today (www.fuel-game.com) along with the aforementioned in-game screenshots! The screenshots are also available to view and download from our FUEL Flickr picture set.

We hope you like them :)

FUEL is coming Q2 2009 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.

not entirely sure i understand the concept.....

How can you have a race with no boundaries on an enourmous map? That brings up the possibility of racers going litterally opposite directions.
If all start and finish in the same place this makes more sense but then surely a couple of alternative routes for variety, why have "an astonishing no-boundaries playfield that's over 5,000 square miles (14,000+ km²) in size"?
It's unecessary....

Or have I got the concept wrong??

Not as good as your previous FUEL thread tbh...

:D +1

Although, CodeMasters have been in the game (excuse pun) long enough to know that no-one takes anynotice of CGI Trailers
However, from the few in-game shots in the Developer Introduction it looks cool (tornado is awsome).
I'm not into Driving/Racing games, but will keep an eye on this ;)

All the screenshots are actual in-game shots.

Edge Online have recently previewed the game actually, and they seemed to really like the game.

Here's a small quote from the start of the article:

"It’s entirely possible that Fuel will be recorded in the annals of gaming history as a dramatic leap forward in both technology and design approach.

A bold statement, perhaps, but in an increasingly procedurally augmented era of game design, a small French development studio has truly embraced the technique with remarkable results."
