Hi all
So I've upgraded my PC(or basically got new one)with the following parts...
- Asus P5E Deluxe Intel X48 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
- Intel Core 2 Quad Pro Q6600 "Energy Efficient SLACR 95W Edition" 2.40 GHz (1066FSB) - Retail
- Akasa AK-966 Blue Aurora (Intel LGA 775)
- Samsung SpinPoint F1 1TB SATA-II 32MB Cache - OEM (HD103UJ).
So my PC now consists of these parts plus the following
- Geil 2x1GB DDR2 Memory
- PNY GeForce 8800 GT 512Mb GDDR3
- And a power supply of 600W
When I turn My PC on nothing appears on the Monitor. And The DVD Rom Drive does not work.
The Graphics card has a slot for the PCI E Powercable so when I remove this and power on the PC again the DVD Rom Drive works and there is a long continuos beep.
Does this mean that 600W is not enough in order to run these components or is there something else wrong?
