do ocuk test all rma cpu's?

if someone bought a cpu from ocuk then afew days later found it had problems, e.g bad/poor cores, can the person rma it to ocuk and get a replacemeant without being questioned?

do ocuk test all rma cpu's that is within the first 7 days of buying it?

I'm pretty sure they'll test any RMA's, no matter how much time has passed.


What's up with the CPU? Faulty CPU's are very rare.
 
We test all CPUs returned to us unless there is physical damage that would risk the hardware we used to test the chip.

If the chip was not in a reasonable condition we would send it back to the customer.

it as poor core/s. also it gets blue screens at stock. also the ocing it doesn't like. i know its not a ram,psu,motherboard issue because my old 9850 works perfectly

We will take it back within 7 days under your rights (Distance Selling Act) but if you are going to go through all the chips in our warehouse because they won't overclock we will frown upon it.
no mate. i wouldn't do that. it just that this chip is very poor.
 
Sorry if I'm being stupid, but what exactly is the problem with the chip? Does it fail prime / stability tests at stock or something?
 
people sometimes overclock beyond the specs of the chip, increasing voltages perhaps which can wreck it, how does OcUK deal with that if it's then sent back for RMA?
