Just got back from a great night out at the Sage in Gateshead and we went past the Bensham Jockey pub...With the above outside, blues flashing.

Big response for quiet old Gateshead!

Anyone heard anything on the grapevine yet? I know there are a few locals here...

What was going on at the sage? Drove past it about 45 mins ago and it was very busy.

Duke Special was performing.

For his encore, he led everyone out of the hall and into the main lobby area where he had another piano. We all sat down and had a singalong...And a creepy guy kept taking photos of me.

AWESOME night.

It's the kind of place which is easy (to want) to forget.'

i wholeheartedly agree...towards the top end theres a large community of orthadox jews who try to keep themselves to themselves whereas towards the bottom you have well lets say the less desirable elements of society (sorry if anyone lives there btw its jsut the few that make it bad) anyhow lets jsut say theres a load of racism directed towards the jew's and theres quite a few drugs that go around....certainly not one of the nicer places in the world

I know it well - spent two years on Windsor Avenue

However, having walked around the area a fair bit, I feel I was actually on a nice bit...which isn't really saying much! Fortunately, I've escaped to a much nicer area! :D

Well there goes the governments defence on tazers, of course they are only going to be used instead of a firearm (unless of course the bloke would have been shot instead which I doubt).

Sorry, OT
