BIOSTAR IN STOCK NOW.

I purposley made the post arrogant because of the arrogance of my product suggestion back in August, when I upgrade I like to buy everything from one place makes life easier especially if a PSU blows the whole rig out upon build.

Ended up buying a different motherboard so I could get everything from here at that time.
It may have taken us this long to get them in due to having to set up new supplier contacts, get support information for RMAs etc.

Be great if we stocked the motherboard with no warranty backup...
Ahhh I see well I reccomended at plan B & C, plan B - had stock & warranty within 1 month, I still ended up buying a rig from OcUK doh. :( C had stock & warranty in place within a week.

What I'm trying to say is if you really want to sell products best get them in as their released, missed out on 5 months worth of sales.

Hell I should be a buyer again then again ordering 500,000+ different mechanical/electrical items is slightly different to ordering a few bits & bobs of computer hardware from distributor's.

Work hard, play hard - I used to play the Trumpet, now I've just blown it again. :p

Oh by the way here was my product suggestion back in August 2008

How about stocking this Enthusiast motherboard, no one in the UK currently stocks it except for a very unknown e-tailor: ******************

The motherboard has been getting rave reviews from enthusiasts worldwide & is the current world record overclocker with a staggering 725FSB.

Distrubutor: Target Components Ltd

I'm sorry you were not replied to in your original suggestion but please realise that new people are running the motherboard group now and we will make sure that we listen all suggestions.:) We may not choose to follow them all for various reasons but if our customers want products then it's generally a good idea for us to stock them.

If only it was that simple.:) The purchasers at OcUK are not just buyers. We manage the products, content on the website, buying and more. We have to agree on returns situations as well. I'm quite sure you'd be much happier if we could organise a quicker direct RMA service/brand new replacement for example than some repaired brown box product.

It good to know that you know how simple and easy the job is. :)

As Slackworth has said the member of the team who neglected our motherboard range is no longer with us, Me and AndyOcUK are working on our motherboard range and it took us just over two weeks to get Biostar in.

We have new lines of Asus, Gigabyte, Foxconn, XFX, Zotac etc all on the website or due shortly. OcUK will have all the top boards again shortly. :)

About time too. Prices are quite comparable for a change as well.

Now how about the budget end? OCUK seem to have forgotten all about the budget end. We have loads of people coming on here with £200-300 budget's needing a board/cpu/ram and gpu and usually it can't be done.

Biostar do a couple of budget P43 boards that sell for around £54 and £57 and a budget P45 board that sells for around £70. Both overclock well although obviously there are less options in the bios. I have one of their budget P35 boards, P35D2-A7 which is similar to the P43/45 budget boards and that is a fine clocker too. The TP45 HP at £89 would be good to see as well. I even believe it's better than the basic Asus P45 P5Q. Certainly has a better layout anyway.

That's no problems. We've got the relationship set up now so I'm sure we can get some others listed. Yewen has also been speaking to some other manufacturers so that we can get a range of budget boards available.

That's good news. You really should'nt ignore the budget upgraders. There have been quite a few recently that have had to put their plans on hold because you don't have any budget boards anymore.

Such as me :), I need to replace my problematic P5E (i cant RMA it because there is nothing wrong with it) but dont have a lot of money, its either live with it or sell it and buy a new motherboard.

Just don't be expecting many bios updates..(for the 775 version) seems they have given up on that... not that one is needed at the minute for me anyway.

biostar have never been one for bios updates ever if im honest my parents am2 shuttle is still on a beta bios and never released a full version of it:eek:

aaaaaaaaaaaa wrong info posted yesterday!!??

damn i really wanted this board and added to basket yesterday afternoon, but after researching i presumed it was the cut down version TP45 HP so cancelled. now the owner of a p5q instead :/

I'm running a Biostar TSeries HP45 in my server, seems decent enough with a wide range of BIOS options.

I did originally order a Tpower, but they sent me a TSeries. But due to a pricing mistake I would have had to have returned it (at my cost) and paid more to get the board I ordered.

So that's why it's in my server.

That's why OcUK should have got it sooner!

Also be aware that there are no voltage fine tune options (on the 775 at least) so you can only set it at like 1.32/1.37/1.42/1.47 etc - apart from that it's great.

I managed to get 4ghz on my x58 but at the moment I have it on 3.89ghz with ht on and a vcore of 1.376v. I would post some pictures but I can't access ocuk at home...
