How do I found out my ISP?

So you moved into rented accommodation, and neither yourself or anyone else currently occupying the house has had a bill addressed to them for internet usage? Yet you can access the internet?

So you moved in, there was a router etc. already there and you hooked your computer up to it and are getting free internet? Do you have a line rental with BT? Just trying to understand what's happening.

I'm not sure which bit you're misunderstanding. The people who paid the previous bill have moved out. The people now living there will pay the next bill (which hasn't come yet). It's not difficult love.

Anyway it was mostly aimed at the condescending way you said "love" :p :)
Not nearly as condescending as the majority of replies here, you've clearly upset the forum police RemainNameless.

Anyway no suprises your connection is slow, Eclipse are junk. Now might be a good time to jump ship if you can.

Explaining everything in the first post might've avoided this, instead of making yourself look like a gormless fool.
It doesn't take much noggin to think of good reasons why the OP might not know which ISP he's using. He didn't need to explain anything.

Actually, I moved into a rented house and no one currently living here has had to pay a bill yet, hence the question.

Doesn't explain anything, so **** off for jumping on me for asking for clarification of your situation. All the above states is no-one has been billed, doesn't provide anything further to you asking what ISP you are currently accessing the internet from.

How about you go through the landlord, ask them to contact the previous tenants. It's not difficult to sort out is it love?

Same question to you. Why exactly do you need to know about my situation? Does it stop you from answering the original question?

Again, you think I haven't thought of this?

Of course I'm going to do this, but all I wanted to do for the time being is quickly ascertain my ISP.

Now brainiac, which do you think is going to take the shortest amount of time, going through the landlord to contact the previous tenants, or making a post on a forum.
