I've just replaced my RAM to OCZ Vista 4 x2 GB to try and achieve this overclock on air.

I raise the FSB to 333, but its just not stable......load wow and BSOD.

Any pointers?

I can get mine to 3.0Ghz stable on my crappy £50 board at 333 FSB, but I do have 1066 RAM.

Once I go to 334 FSB I dont even post!

What board and model RAM is it?

Set your ram at the default Volts rating set by OCZ and the correct timings too. Most OCZ requires 2.1v as my OCZ 8GB set does ( please double check before setting ). Then set the CPU volts to 1.4v and FSB to 333. This should work now.

Legend....

I uped my RAM to 2.1v (didn't touch CPU volts) and its all stable......according to Speedfan its at 40c under load...(on Air).

Now wondering what elses I can do with it?

I'm not an expert but 40c under load seems a bit low?
Are you sure it's that's core temp and not case temp or something?

I just moved from an ASUS Striker Extreme 680i Sli, to a cheaper ASUS P5QL-Pro.

Previously my record was 2.9Ghz stable, hardly flattering on a board that cost quite a bit. Now on the P5QL-Pro the Q6600 went straight to 3Ghz on stock volts, and 3.6Ghz with 1.4V! Even if I dared 1.5V on the Striker Extreme I could not get past 3Ghz. I have a theory that the ASUS P5QL-Pro is more stable because it automatically updates the Ram frequencies and shows a selection of possible frequencies to choose from, whereas the Striker Extreme allowed unlinked frequencies and I am simply not adept enough to choose the most stable frequencies. I'm not very experienced at overclocking as my theory probably shows, but the newer Asus motherboard made a huge difference! I'm glad I kicked that Nforce mobo and dropped Sli!

Although OP if it makes you feel any better I only gained a whole 1FPS in Crysis.
