Feasters microwave burgers. I'm impressed.

Do these microwave burgers ever contain large unidentified rubber like chunks? I had a burger from a takeaway a few weeks back and it tasted pretty good until i bit into a large rubber chunk of something then puked it all up :(. Really puts me off and i cant see how anyone can just carry on eating a burger after that.

The rubber chunks are eye balls.

If you have 'blood' coming out your burger YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!! oh man....

:D I dread to think what it is, it cant be fat as that isn't that tough.

Reminds me of San Andreas when you buy a chicken burger and the guy behind the counter says "the chewy bits aren't harmful sir" lol.

Thread disgusts me.

Now where are my quail eggs and venison steaks?

I actually really like microchips and burgers. Never tried feasters though *makes note*

Buy some lean mince and wholemeal burger buns and do it properly :p
You're completely missing the point of microwave burgers. If I had the time to do that, would. Because I only have 80 seconds, I ate this. And, for something that cost £1 and took 80 seconds to cook and 5 seconds to prepare, it isn't bad at all.

Christ on a bike. Just because someone posts about a "microwave burger" that must mean:

1) They're scummers
2) They're scroungers
3) They have no culinary penchant
4) They don't know how to or want to cook for themselves

Get yourself a George Foreman or similar standalone grill, you can cook quality fresh burgers in a matter of minutes. Doesn't even require that much effort, you buy them ready made. Grill a bit of bacon at the same time, plop in a bun with with grated cheese and serve with nachos and salad on the side (all of which you can prepare while the meat is cooking)

Sure, not as quick as the microwave, but still less than 10mins and doesn't actually require you to 'make' anything yourself beyond grating the cheese and chopping the salad which fills the minutes nicely.

I can see the appeal of microwave food when there are big time savings to be made (say, baked potatoes, or xmas pudding), but burgers are pretty quick anyway.

Why would I want to:

(1) Buy a grill (at least £30)
(2) Buy burgers
(3) Buy buns
(4) Prepare (5m)
(5) Cook (10m)
(6) Clean (at least 10m)

When all I want is a quick snack that I eat 4-5 times a year, that costs £1.

Again, you're missing the point of microwave burgers. What the hell is wrong with people.

Defensive much? Twas said in jest fella, chill out :)

The 'I don't have time' thing I really don't get, but hey, each to their own. If you like to eat that kinda 'food' occassionally, its your body.

I suppose I wouldn't be particularly happy if people judged my nutrition choices (because they're awesome :p) And yes you're right I assumed you didn't know how to prepare or cook a large array of food. However, no I didn't assume you were scum or a scrounger, just lazy :)

Hope I didn't make the burger memory bitter.

Ant
