I am flying to Newark with Continental in May and I have to get a connecting flight, however the wait is 6hrs. I am not to bothered about the wait because if we have any delays from Manchester I wont be worried.

However I see that there is the above lounge, but unlike the one at Manchester it seems you cant pay to get in.

The only place I can find passes are

http://www.tripextras.com/usa/new-y...ny-newark-airport/continental-presidents-club

So question is has anyone been to this pace before, does the site look legit and is there anywhere else I could get it from.

Cheers :)

is this really worth paying for?
just take a book or some work or something

lounges are great, but i've never thought of paying for one if i haven't had access..
newark is huge, so you can easily find a quiet area of the airport in an unused gate

when i was there for about the same time on a connecting continental flight i just found a quiet space and just did some work

Its not for work its for a holiday and its only £20. We will get some of this back by eating the snacks and drinkng the drinks.

As I will be there with a friend I am not sure the book idea will work. :)

you're usually allowed one guest, but using this thing i presume it's only for one person. spending £40 is probably not worth it though, unless you get absolutely wasted and eat all the food :p
