I need a new audio interface... need help

I've had a little look around but I need some knowledge from you guys. What do you use? I'm looking at having an 8 mic firewire jobby.

I like the look of the M-Audio ProFire 2626 - anybody use this? I know M-audio don't have the best rep for stability with mac. I'm looking to use it with Logic Pro on my Macbook.

Could you recommend anything for below £600?

Thanks neoni, but I'm looking for something a bit bigger.

I'm almost certainly going to buy the M-Audio ProFire 2626 unless someone pipes up and advises me otherwise!

M-Audio don't have a stability problem with Macs :confused:

I was going to recommend the ProjectMix from M-Audio, although it may be slightly over budget. I managed to pick mine up off the bay for £500 though so you never know. One thing I would be aware of is problems - mine's just decided to lose all in/out audio signal so needs to go in for repairs and is sadly out of warranty :(

Incidentally, there's a new 003 rack out - not sure if you've seen? It has 8 ins now :eek:
