Free music, it's legit ok

I really like this, been using it for a few days - I've got a little library set up, and as long as I'm on the internet you can just listen to it, suits me down to the ground.

I quite like it tbh! THough some tracks dont work in the UK! :(

Ah just found the track thats on the Crank 2 Trailer :D Linkin Park - Given Up....was wondering what the track was when I saw that trailer!

I'm in France atm I guess that's why I can hardly find any tracks.

Very nice program though.

Thanks for the heads up - As somebody who doesn't need audio in mp3 (Never really bother with my MP3 player much) this service is fantastic... Very impressed! :) Better than streaming my local radio station which was my previous source of revision music :p

Last.fm never play me anything I like. It plays absolute twonk and rubbish I've never heard of.

I didn't mean tributes, I meant Metallica. Only a little is still too much ;)

Spotify is quite good, I've been using it for a few weeks since there was another thread on it. It does have a couple of niggles:

1. Some bands are missing, notably AC DC and Pink Floyd.
2. The adverts are scary! I'm listing to something quite loud and suddenly Moira Stewart suddenly starts banging on about tax returns.

Still, it is free, so I shouldn't complain.

Ah i see, yep they do play a lot of twonk, but you get a few gems. I think they must have awful code for there selecting. It can't be hard to make a profile when you have rated hundreds of songs.

Spotify is free and seems to have most stuff, so not bad. Still waiting for zune launch if it ever happens. Hope it's prices like americans. even if they do just change the dollar sign.

I used to really like Pandora before they axed access in the UK. Great for finding out new music etc.

Cheers for the link!

Me too. As a result of losing access to Pandora, and a few changes in my lifestyle, my music listening time has dropped dramatically.

So I'll give this a whirl as it looks promising :)

This is a brilliant little service, hope it manages to get off the ground properly.

Now all of you, go and listen to the magic of Seasick Steve ;) (its free!)

Not too bad for a random monday afternoon. Better than going on youtube or something to listen to one random song.

Need to pay for more licenses though, only has one brian jonestown masscure album (the one on a big lable) and doesnt have the original of that mia song with the gun :s

Still doesnt sound too bad for stuff streamed over the net

Thanks for posting this. I was considering signing up for a paid for service but this will suit me just fine. Loving it so far.

Hmm, there doesnt seem to be way of making a radio station featuring similar artists to the one you choose like Pandora and Last.fm do....but then why do what they already do I guess.

Its rather good all the same. Havent been able to find anything it doesn't have yet.
