I've currently got a 7" lcd double din head unit in my car, works great and all but I'm abit worried about someone seeing it and breaking in for it. Do units exist that are double din where you can remove the facia? If so anyone got any recommendations for all in one type units (dvd/usb/tv/satnat/etc)?

I don't think you can get a 'Removable Facia' double DIN unit!.. it'd be a hell of a thing to carry arround with you!.. not really easily slip into your pocket!!..
I've never seen one!.. and I'm looking at getting one for my Civic at some point!..

It's more for taking out when I park it at home or something, I'd even prefer to be able to stick it under the chair!

Not that i've seen, i've been looking at replacing my Avic X1R-BT with the double din version, problem is its just screaming out for someone to pinch it so i've been holding off.
True I know, but it's better than being on show. More often than not I'll take it with me.

It's apparently the only double-din with a removable facia, although I have heard rumours of a Kenwood one that also has a removable facia, might be worth searching for that

Does mean owning a JVC unit however..... 
Can't be long till Kenwood and Pioneer do one, most people just stick the face plat out of view anyways.
