£19k from nowhere

So you would risk getting into trouble over a few % interest. It would be a pathetic amount. Go outside and beg for a few hours and you will probably be better off.

Leave it where it is.

1) He's already told the bank
2) The bank would remove the £19k and any interest gained on it
3) If he moved the money around his account(s) they'd be more likely to pick it up

Also if he removed it he could be done for fraud, like that women was.

And still get done for fraud, for removing it from his account and not taking reasonable steps to get the mistake sorted.

Ah ****! I knew I paid the money into the wrong account!

If I could just ask you to transfer it back mate? My details are......

:p

Send the bank a recorded letter informing them of their error and that you're going to be charging them £10ph handling fee for the monies, plus also charge them £25 for the letter too.

well his bank details are already known, deposits over the internet, purchases from the interent with this account into fake companies that will launder the monies onwards

Expect to go back to your apartment tonight and find copious amounts of fertiliser, weapons and aircraft specifications there.

You will then receive a phone call from 'her'.

Do as she says.

Say nothing and leave it in the bank for a while, see if anyone notices.

This happened to me once, £300 mysteriously went in and out of my account, it was just a ****-up.

However, if they do take it, ring the bank angrily and demand to know what is going on. If you make a sufficient fuss, including talking about the Bank's evident lack of security and procedures to stop this happening, and you'll probably get a sniff of compensation.

However, if nobody touches it, for months, then come back and ask for more advice ;)

I wish this would happen to me :( I wouldnt say anything - just let it sit there - for a few months worth of interest ;) Then if they asked - claim ignorance!
