January Transfer Window Thread - rumours and signings here

Fantastic news! Another youngster coming to our team of the future (which never seems to arrive).

We certainly dont want any of these older experienced players that could help out the team now

 He hasn't signed yet, which I pointed out unless I'm on everyone's ignore list!

What's the problem if he does sign? Aren't the club suppose to look to the future? I can't imagine Wenger/Gazidis have spent a great deal of time if any chasing this transfer, more likely it would be Brady's time.

Palacios is who Wenger should be busting a gut to get. I would like us to get him, however if we sign him it can only spell the end for Hargreaves.

The problem is that when everyone is fit, the Midfield is the one area where we are not short of players. Of course if Rosi career is finished and Walcott is going to be injury prone then I'd love him.

Which may not be such a bad thing, I've seriously lost patience with him

How that injury was overlooked in the scramble to get him I'll never know

It all goes back to the broken leg he had in the last season at BM, whether it was forseeable or not is anyone's guess

I really feel for OH, because without him I very much doubt we would have won the CL, or even got to the final (of course there are 11 people on the pitch, but his quality in all areas of the pitch really gave us an edge we have missed in previous years as well as this season)

He deserves a real chance, (as he personally has done nothing wrong in regards to this) - but I would love to see both Palacios and Valencia at Utd, I just doubt either will actually arrive.

I agree its bad for the lad but ****ing frustrating when you have spent x million on someone sat on his arse for 2 seasons, it's another Saha situation I can see it

Palacios is a player that Arsenal should really go for as I'm sure he would sign for them instead of Spurs.

Very glad to see Bellamy go, the bloke doesn't know the meaning of loyaty. Still nearly a £7 million pound profit after a year and not many games is good for me :D

Indeed, what makes anyone think he is going to turn into a free scoring striker?

I rate Bellamy to be honest. He's Owen that still has pace but not the goals.

He'll be a decent foil if they bring in a very good striker alongside him, and have a very good midfield behind him (for instance, Kaka and Robinho with others).

He's better than they have now, IMO.
