Just bought the game after returning it because i couldnt activate it, then heard of all the bugs.. i was trying to wait until Jan Xfer window closed but i couldnt resist any more.


I decided to start with Aston Villa (i dont really support a team, i just dont like Chelski after José left lol). I feel Villa's attributes need to be beefed up a lil more tbh... £5m transfer funds :(

Transfers In:

Nelson Rivas (waiting on permit fingers crossed - HE IS A BEAST wasting away in Inter's reserves)
Bosko Jankovic
Veloso - Sporting CP seem to be in some cash problems?
Andre Bikey - he was my fav in FM08 @ reading rock solid hopefully he can do the job for villa too & doubling up as DR.

Id like to start one as Villa, would be good having a crack at the top four, but carnt leave my free flowing football at Barcelona too long without getting symptons lol

villa are quite challenging, as young & agbonlahor (sp?) imo should have better stats. But in general a fairly well rounded team. Pacey attack with Carew you have a powerful target man (who is on fire for me). 2 DC that are pretty solid and one has stats to be a force in the air. Wing backs could be improved but your unlikely to get srna / rafinha so im contemplating my next seasons buys to be WBL & WBR. and maybe a MC.

Trying to shift some deadwood atm. but no1 is taking lol.

I've got Marquinhos too, so versatile!

One of my wingers is an absolute demon, Had to fend off £30m bids from Arsenal/Liverpool during the summer to keep him.

I scouted him, not knowing he might be a "everyone buys him player"

Was chuffed when I found him, he's the player I was trying to avoid the 10 league games thingy a few pages back

He's about to join me in Jan, went on a "youngster" rampage, and I have about 5 superstars in the making, all sub 18 apart from Marquinhos who is going to ease my striker shortage of only

Llorente, Oba Martins and Zaki

How do you get permits for these players? ^_^ i dont have a spare team like Man Utd have so im not sure what to do?

does sound good, might give it a try then and Ive got a feeling barry will be captain next season again if he stays or at least VC
 
Yeah...i decided to shell out some cash :$

Just spent £72m on a select few amazing Spaniards and one dutchie. Any guesses? Oh...all from Madrid too :x.

Hint: one was free, so it would've been well over £100m. Four players in total, one originally not from Real, rest are there currently.

For them who are beta testing the 9.0.3 patch, i've just received the email from the production team to start but there is no link in the email to download the latest build. :D
