Hey guys

I am currently after a new case for my new rig here are the specs fyi :

cpu: i7 920
m/b: Giga-UD5
RAM: Corsair 1600Mhz
Cooler: My current Thermaltake 120 extreme
GFX: Galaxy GTX 295
Monitor: My current Samsung 24" 245B
PSU: My current Silverstone OP1000

I am currently looking at these two cases, as they meet the two aspects i am after one is wanting a full tower case and the other is having more than 7 expantion slot, which either of these meet.So...

Any thoughts or ideas ?????

Why i should go with one or not with the other, experiences that anyone would like too share ?

Or alternative cases ?

Lian Li PC-P80 over the Thermaltack any day of the week.

The Lian Li is an awesome case if you can justify the cost.

The Silverstone TJ-07 is worth looking at also, for the expansion slot requirements and its general greatness.

Not the TT. Unfortunately i have one from a few years ago. While they do have excellent space to work in inside and has good airflow, it is a crap quality, rattly piece of junk with flaps that serve no purpose but to annoy you.

Silverstones are very nice.

The quality of TT Armor is very good mate ;)
But there is a few issues:You have to use screew instead tooless mounting, and cable managment is not good at all.I'm still using this case but I would like to chenge for something else.
Go for LianLi

and the other is having more than 7 expantion slot
Very few choises then, probably wouldn't be problem in counting even if that one hand missed finger or two.
But then most case designs won't go for completely 100% insane goals...
With all that additional heat produced even when doing nothing and general performance scaling from mediocre to none when adding cards I wouldn't keep it in any way sensible to sink money into so many fast to grow obsolete parts that normal seven slots wouldn't be enough.
Also those cases still keep PSU in hottest place.

The quality of TT Armor is very good mate ;)
And craptacularly designed fan vents don't exclude quality?
Maybe that could be overlooked if they incldued Dremel with case.

I got P60 but have build one pc of mates using P80. Gotta say its quality case, its MASSIVE with loads of space for watercooling. Also fans are very quite so no need to worry there ;)
