Hey, I have 2 relatively new front tyres (around 3000 miles maybe) on a mondeo. The nearside has just got an advisory (amongst a list of fails I might add!!). I've looked and its just along the very edge of the tread thats nearest the kerbside thats worn. The rest is fine and the opposite tyre is pukka.
What could cause this APART from the tracking, I've had this sorted up to 3 times in the past and it doesn't seem to stop the car pulling to left slightly - had it done at 3 separate places.
I'm thinking the wheel may not be aligned perpendicular to the road/car properly or something like the toe/camber etc is wrong? (have no idea what is what). I've also noticed that on full lock turning left the car sort of "slides" or judders as if the wheel is over the sidewall perhaps and maybe thats whats causing the excess wear, only happens when turning left on the nearside tyre....
Reluctant to keep putting new tyres on it if it keeps happening!!
Cheers for any help
