9800GTX+ or 4850 for 1680x1050

Well I just bit the bullet and brought a gainward 4850 golden sample for £145. Apparently it has the .8ns ram which should be good for 1200mhz :) and it has a better cooler than stock. Does anyone have any experience with these cards?
 
not that particular one, from reviews it looks like it clocks to 750mhz though which is not bad at all. Good choice

I have 2 in crossfire (see sig) and they are SWEET, quiet as you like, compared to my previous nvidia cards these are silent, look awesome with the cooling pipes and handle everything i have thrown at them, Crysis is the only game i get sub 100 fps with everything maxed at 1600x1200
