UK is "officially" in recession

there were no benefits, infact its cost this government money.

Incorrect. Immigrants filled jobs that British people refused to do because they are hard work and low paid so your average British scrounger would be better off on the dole. Or as I like tot call it the Lawyer Syndrome, everybody thinks they can be a Doctor or Lawyer or some other high end profession and refuses to do manual work.

You are wrong dear friend, a recent report sugests that mass immigration has and will cost this country for decades. i think anyone would be hard working if the level of wages her could buy them a property in their own country, plus labour have let down the working class and white families.

Of course immigration costs. I wasn't saying that. You said they brought no benefit to the UK and that, my dear friend, is incorrect.

Working class families in the UK in some respects have themselves to blame for being unwilling to do the work instead relying on easy to obtain benefits.

sorry you have no understanding about the way they were pushed out of jobs and forced to take handouts, and no immigration has brought any benefits for the local community or economic.

No benefits for the economy? So a reliable cheap labour source brings no economic values?

They weren't pushed out of jobs they just refused to adapt and found it easier to be on benefits (that the immigrants cannot claim) after all who's going to work real hard for peanuts when you can get you rent paid, fag money and your council tax paid for free?

Dunno how they caused house prices to rise. If you take the typical Eastern European stereotype working as a plumber, then I hardly see how they're living in nice houses.

More immigrants push up rental costs, and limit the number of cheapo properties, pushing other properties into newer levels.
Then you have the regulations inforced by labour with meant social housing was reduced, while pushing shared ownership.

Infact you could say labour have created a never going to own a home class, and really have messed up the life of future generations anyone under 35.

what about people getting tax credits?

I'm under 35 and Labour haven't messed my life up. Nor have they helped. I have succeed in life (I.e. nice home, nice car, nice job) because I got off my backside and worked - hard. Including doing some crappy jobs when I was younger.

I joined the housing list in 1995 and it was iirc 15 years estimated at the time for me to get a council house. Property in my area was already at that time out of my price range.

Unlike the last government they at least have a policy on housebuilding. It may not be great but at least there is an effort.

I moved north for a slower lifestyle, nicer scenery, friendlier people and Ive worked damned hard to buy a flat and make some sort of life for myself. I incurred debt because credit was easy to come by and I wanted immediate gratification. Not because immigration was so high that I had to take out a loan or card to have that computer or a television now. To me its managable, now Im just sitting tight, working hard and riding things out.

So if in 1995 property was out of your price range, when it was at an all time low, now its at a altime high and wages are at an altime low.
labour ristricted house building in this country.
it was easy to get social housing under the last government, much harder now.
