Best value big plasma?

The current LGs are pretty good, but unfortunately they are one of the few plasma manufactuers who hasn't got to grips with image retention yet.

Yeah, I saw that on HUKD, but apart from the fact you are missing out on the advances of 9G, you need to make sure that it is 1080P as that is a significant difference.

Ah, sorry i dont know too much about Plasmas, i read somewhere that the 720p kuros were better than the 1080p but i thought that seemed strange

Not with one of those babies it isn't. I'd happily put my 8G 42" Kuro any similar sized panel apart from the other Pios. Being 1080p is nowhere near as important as everyone seems to think it is.

The 720p Kuros are not better than the 1080p Kuros, but they are better then just about every other panel currently available.

You will see people saying hat 720p is better for SD viewing as there is less upscaling required, but it's not much of an issue for the Kuros.
