Which Detergent/Shampoo for use with a pressure washer?

As title.

I've just bought a Halfords HP2000 pressure washer and plan on giving it a try out over the weekend. I'm just not sure which cleaning fluid to use with it, and can't seem to find any useful information recommending any particular stuff.

Any thoughts/ideas as to which fluids are good and those that should be avoided?

Well what are you cleaning?

I just use the Halfords own brand car wash detergent and seems to work fine.

I'm cleaning my car with it primarily.

I know it varies from washer to washer, but how long does a 5 litre bottle of detergent last?

Meguiars Gold class. Its nice. A litre has lasted for a long time, at least 18 months.

I personally would use pH neutral - snow foam

I was looking into snowfoam, but in the Q&A for my pressure washer on the Halfords site, it recommends against the use of snow foam. Not sure why though. :confused:

£58 inc. It was a refurbed unit, but has a full one year warranty.
