With my current gf now for over 3 and half years. Doing long distance at uni now. And it is surprisingly easy! Couldn't be happier =]

I often wonder why you spam here so much. Surely a married trainee solicitor has better things to do with their Saturday than sit in their bedsit spamming a forum the whole day.

I'm very happy in my relationship

She does live about 2-3 hours away so I don't get to spend as much time as I would want to.

She takes an interest in what I do/like, so she even plays Left4Dead and stuff

Frankly, I feel suffocated in an intimate relationship. It works out worse for me.
I need my own space, free time and "boys toys" will never get old.

If anything, it's made me a colder hearted ******* and I won't take much nonsense from girls anymore.

I think what I was trying to suggest is that a hell of a lot of people take themselves far too seriously on this board.

I'm 10 years into a healthy relationship.

Things are going very well and we share our time between individual pursuits and time together. So I get to play PC games, read the most excellent OcUK boards and fiddle with PC's during the week, and the weekends are mostly spent having quality time together and doing the sort of things couples do.........

I'm happy, my partner is happy and life is good

A lot of those people are in happy relationships though, I think you're looking in the wrong direction here. Perhaps you need to take a look at what you post here and think to yourself "Why do most people, single, attached, white, black, northern, southern, even irish

all write in my threads and suggest that I'm a dimwit?". I suspect the answer is a lot more obvious than you think.
