The show will continue too but he's toying with the idea of changing the name from 1up Yours.

After a tumultuous holiday break, 1UP Yours returns with a classic episode for the ages. It's the end of an era, and Luke Smith returns to sit down with John, Shane, Andrew, and Garnett for an epic finale packed with Whatcha Been Playin', NPDs, and lots of memories. Raise a glass with us!

The final "1up Yours" has finally went up with the old crew. I say "1up Yours" as the show will still continue. Just under a different name. Garnett hinted at 1up Ours being the new name in a Blog post.

It's nearly 3 1/2 hours long. So start your iTunes or download from 1up! :D
 
Shane has gone to work for Ignition Entertainment (Blue Dragon, Metal slug, etc), which is too bad since he was the one who kinda levelled the discussions out with his Playstation, MGS love.
 
Yeah listened to Shane on Rebel FM. Shame to see him go as i really liked him. Little Big Planet gets added to his Playstation and MGS luuurrvvv :D
 
I think he just meant "a dark day in gaming" was a bit over the top..
The phrase is usually reserved for something like, the plague.

We're here, on a nerdy geek sub forum concentrating on console gaming where the daily debate is which fps is best or which gaming pod cast do people listen to. The #1 gaming podcast folds, all the staff are let go. It's a dark day in gaming, I didn't say it was a "dark day" per se as it would be ridiculous to compare it the great plague of 1600's.

I'm still unsure what your point is other than trying to be smart.

I'm a gaming enthusiast. I listen to gaming podcasts, read gaming forums and 1UP with 1UP FM, the 1UP Show, 1UP Yours was probably the most popular gaming podcast source. This is a console gaming forum and we've lost this after 3 years; it's a dark day.

If you disagree or you're not interested fair enough.
