Day Insurance for under 23's?

Anyone know of any decent places to get 1 day insurance if your under 23?

Nope, you can't anymore. They have all moved to 23+ especially for performance cars.

Group 15 and above are 23+ below that as far as I'm aware is 21+. I guess the ST220 probably is group 16 or similar.

if i remember correctly, its exactly that

I'm pretty sure the 220 is Group 17, same as my 530. I remember that little fact from when I was deciding between them.

Is that law or do the insurance companies refuse to do it. I bet there's a market out there for charging people £1000 to insure a 21 year old on a high performance car for one day only. You never know

Dampcat if you're reading this, do you know what the legitimate reason is. If I can get insured on a Group 18 car for 10 months for £2,500. Why can't they let me drive one for one week for something like £300?

They've changed it. Please take some time to verify information before offering it as advice especially if its already been discounted for some reason.

Parkers has it as group 16, and the 530i Sport as 17...not that that would make much difference in insurance.

I would look on the ABI site as they used to have a good search engine on there but I can't find it.
