MX-518 buzzin?

Hi,

I have two Logitech MX-518's and one of them has recently started buzzing, does anyone else have one and is this normal? If I turn the mouse over and put my ear to the infrared I can clearly hear a strange buzzing.

I can hear a sort of a high pitch whine when i put it right to my ear, but no buzzing.

Just plugged in my other one and the noise isn't half as bad. It must be on It's last legs!

Well if any of them completely break you could always email Logitech and maybe they'll give a replacement

many threads here have talked about logitech's excellent customer service

Maybe your pressing on him too hard?

Seriously though, Logitech's customer services are excellent, they'll probably send you a new one with no problems if the noise is bothering you

Mice squeak when you press on them too hard, not buzz

Blimey - Just put mine upto my ear and it does indeed emit a high-pitched whine.

It must be female...

I'm getting mine sent back its doing my head in all I have is a buzzing ringing in my ear!

LOL just tried and to my amazement sure it does.

Maybe is an age thing, the teenagers can hear it louder, like those anti-social buzz alarms (Mosquito).
