Hi all

I've recently look at this car and it looks like a great option. Does anyone have any experience / comments to make? Please don't recommend other cars, I'd really like to just have opinions on this one.

edit: car is this one: http://www.newlancer.eu

So long as you don't make it look like an Evo, then I'm sure it's fine. :p

Not really heard much about the Lancers as most people want the Evos.

Look like an EVO? No as if! The one I'm looking at doesn't even have the spoiler at the back :)

If you've test driven them, and they seem to be the car for you (interior, handling, power etc.) then to be honest I don't see any reason not to get one, especially as they are quite rare, due to most Lancers being the Evo ones. :)

EDIT: You looked at Honest John, and Mitsu forums and such?

No can't say I have! I don't usually visit car forums etc ... I like having a nice simple car but modding & performance don't really do it that much.

I've tested it and liked it but I thought it's always best to get some opinions from people who know something more about cars than me. Let me have a look at those forums.

re

That is evo is very nice mate

if u want the fastest evo then go for a evo 6 as this was when mitsubishi peaked, all other evos have alonger wheel base at the back which slows you down..not that you will notice it....

my best mates older bro has a evo sprint(zero fighter) limited edition no15,he tells me all this stuff about these cars, his evo i clocked at 580 bhp,2 bar,and it has no active yaw control and it is so many kilos lighter than other evos...he beat an R1 motorcycle going up hill about 1 year ago!

i think all evos are nice but i t all depends how much of an enthusiast you are....are yeah the zero fighter costs about 45k brand new..thats if you can get one lol as they are very rare apparently.....ill stick with my BMW M3 E36

oh yeah mitsubishi dont build the evos,"Jun sports" does, mitsubishi just slaps the badge on....same as the nissan skyline, another great car but with the long wheel base its no match for a standard evo unless the engine is souped up:)

The current Lancer is the only one I think I've seen that actually looks like a nice car in non-Evo guise.

I saw one today and thought it looked rather nice.

This topic isn't about the Evo.

Longer wheelbase at the back? Er, you know Wheelbase is the measurement between the centre of the front wheel and the centre of the back wheel, so your comment makes no sense .
