Where's the best place to look for a shed?

Just because I've always loved them since I was young, there different, I've been off road in them before and it's great fun, there practical, it doesn't matter if you prang them, and they look awesome imo :p

You need an Old Suzuki Vitara like mine, My Insurance was 129 quid for a year through Adrian Flux. My Vit cost 80 quid & I've had it 14+ months. You're close enough to come off road with us lot an all
Vitaras are Amazing off road & cheap, reliable & warm, They're not to bad for pottering around on road either. If you want something that'll pawn Landys Off road then get an SJ like my old one. Vids below.

That looks really fun, certainly be cool to go off road with you lot  Would I need a Vit to join your "club" though? ;)

But I wouldn't be satisifed with anything other than a land rover, or maybe a Jeep at best, anything thing else just feels like a copy, I have to have a Land Rover :p

to spend 200 quid on a car its gunna cost you 2k+ to get your self on road, insurance is going to be 1200+ , with only spendin 200 quid on a car your going to have to get it serviced and MOT, hoping there nothing major wrong with it during MOT test, tax

basicly your better off just getting a car whats at least a bit decent and safe, so spend a bit more money!

Amoeba: You have a 1999 Rover 200? wow, that must be the last of its kind!

I'm looking at getting one of these for a first car :p

:) Obviously there is the HG failure with them... but it seems to be one of the most powerful for engine size (1.4 = 101bhp ) , which is good for me as it keeps insurance down!

@OP: If you don't care about the car you drive, then why haven't you already insured yourself as an extra driver on your mum's car? Insurance will be cheaper this way, and it's £0.00 to buy!

I don't have a mum, and my dads car is a company car so it uses fleet insurance.

local pub for cheap cars, i have been offered a few cars with a little T&T for £100. Normally old volvos/cavs/sierras.

And drive my mums Matiz in the mean time?

Surely it would be safer and more enjoyable to walk?

And I disagree with everyone saying you wont get a runner for £50 - I got an N reg 1.8 Mondeo for £50 last year as a temporary run around whilst my main car was being painted -put it through the MOT and it only needed a set of front pads. Still being run now by my brother in law. It did have three different colour panels on it however as it had been in a few bumps :-)

Visit auctions - have a look at mechanical parts and ignore bodywork.

In nearly 20 years of drinking I think I can safely say I've never been sat in a pub and someone comes up to me offering to sell me a cheap car. Do you want him to go to the pub every day until something turns up? :D

What a strange suggestion.

All over the internet are people who have 'been offered' various cars. I've always wondered how it happens, do people simply walk up to them and offer a car, much like somebody would offer a nicked stereo? :p

This is pretty much how I see it happening to be honest...although my brother seems to get them more sensibly I think. :/

Oh and Yantorsen...you do make my laugh. :D

Cheers, well sometimes it isn't practical to walk, I have a lot of music equipment I need to carry around, so often walking isn't an option.
