Spiders, Scorpions & a Frog Oh My

Chameleons! Then put random paintings on the background and see if they change colour to match!

(I am pretty sure chameleons don't work that way :()

heh no they don't. Colour change is to do with mood / how they feel.

Have to say this is one of the most interesting threads I've read on these forums.

Lovely collection fella. That trapdoor spider just looks hard..!!

Can anyone tell me about these two? (I.e. are they poisonous, can you have them as pets) Is it even real, lol

Camel spiders i think they are... My mate works on a Royal Naval air station and they had to tidy up some of the Sea Kings on return from afghan and iraq, he lifted up a floor panel to get the sand out and 2! ran out across the hangar. The lads had to chase them down with hammers to stop them escaping.

Have you handled them all?
Which one would you not want to be angry with you?

No I haven't. Held a couple of the small ones whilst putting them in new houses. There's a few that are best never handled: Orange baboon, Indian Ornamental, Cobalt Blue, Tiger Rump, Red & Purple Tree spiders, Sun Tiger and of course the trapdoor. Some of the others can be temperamental, the Chile Rose is a good beginners spider as they're known for being docile but mine isn't docile at all. You don't really keep spiders to handle them, there's always a risk of something going wrong be it hairs in your face, being bitten or dropping them.
