I haven't been very good at keeping a log of work recently but thought I might brag that I finally got my long term project an MOT! Here are some pics since it's such a lovely wet day!

Yup, it's filthy already :D

Got to screw some of the external shiny bits on yet, like hubcaps, trim etc but I've been too busy driving. Engine hasn't missed a beat yet, despite being a bit tired. It goes like utter stink and I reckon I've nearly mastered the starting procedure. Should be easier once I've fiddled with the jets and timing :)

1700cc, full race head, Kent 244 cam, twin 40 Webers, 4-1 manifold, paper thin flywheel, 2000E gearbox, Lotus steels, adjustable front struts, strut brace, uprated rear springs and shocks, flipfront, standard interior, proper seatbelts

1700 what? Crossflow? This is begging for some YB power ;)

Crossflow bottom end with flat top pistons and pre-crossflow head. Oldskool hybrid style :)

Great looking motor, can you post a piccie of the engine compartment. How long has this project taken you? :)

Off and on it's taken me about 4 years but a lot of that has been sitting in the garage doing nothing while I try and get some motivation back. Interesting, I have no pictures of the engine bay. Tomorrow's job... :D
