Ages yet, most places say late 2009. Thats for US tv i guess. It finished filming in May last year, I can't see post being longer than 10 months or so for it so we might get lucky and have it summer time.

I hope they don't use fake rendered scenes, such things ruin films ( see pearl harbour or flags of our fathers, ruined by the surrealistic action...), band of brothers was good because they actually filmed most of it rather than use **** fake computer rendered rubbish. That's the problem with most modern war films, combat scenes that look so fake it's terrible, I miss films like tora tora tora or similar where they actually filmed things and didn't have computerized rubbish to show...

Ohwell, anyways, I love ww2 films nonetheless and I hope they make it realistic enough and film enough authentic/lookalike weaponry rather than making it on the pc...
