Sorry for another ebay/paypal question.

My friend is giving me some money and im going to buy something for him via paypal. Im just wondering how much paypal charge for sending money? say £100, £200, £300 etc?

It depends how you are sending it and who to, there are a lot of different options to choose from.

Sending as payment for goods just to another person (not company)

Send it as a gift,they take no money from you then.

That calculates Paypal fees. If you are sending between accounts you can do it as a gift.

Tell the other person you would like to send as a gift,that way you dont get charged.

This is what the OP was saying, if you send it as a gift there is no buyer protection, because you bought nothing.
