Just thought lets recommend some stuff that we think is brilliant and obscure (or at least you think it is). As it often ends up having a much bigger following than you thought.

K Pax - ok, not everybody will like this film. It's with Jeff Bridges and Kevin Spacey but the mood, colours and especially the score make this one of my favourites.

I recommend The Critic - an animated series from some of the main people behind The Simpsons. You may have seen the Simpsons episode where a film critic comes to Springfield for their film festival - he's the main character of The Critic and that was the tie-in episode to launch the series. If you like The Simpsons give it a try, it's very well done. It's not possible to buy it over here, I had to order it from Amazon US, but weirdly it plays in my region 2 player.
