Anyone here had problems with this?

Ran into it myself last night on an infected machine. Managed to infect my own pc and laptop just by using the same mem stick on them.

Kaspersky picked it up but not before it got into them. Managed to remove it though using kaspersky and malwarebytes and spybot.

The infected machine belongs to a teacher at the local secondry school who uses a usb stick to bring work home with her so guessing the whole school is infected by it.

Think i may have a busy week ahead :)

Most of the RAF's IT went down with it, still waiting for my PC to be fixed 2 weeks later!

Believe it or not I got an autorun virus of a brand new 4GB media player I got from......Aldi!

It was easily fixed though.

I've spent the past week or so going round all works PC's making sure they're all patched against this, and also making sure autorun is disabled. It's been a right royal pain in the butt to be honest.

seen quite a few of this instance on some schools pcs...tbh they should just be banned and onsite on-line storage should be use for businesses and schools, easier to manage and virus scan and protect :) although cost will be to much of an issue :(
