If Everton stumped up a much-needed and face-saving £18m, I'm sure any rivalries would be forgotten.

Liverpool don't have any cash to lose, so either we get a decent offer for Keane, or we'll have to keep him in the hope he comes good.
 
Robbie Keane hasnt become rubbish just like that...

If there was a chance Newcastle could get him that would be a great buy... He would probably be our 2nd best striker behind Owen then
 
I cant believe Bolton are actually in talks to sign Veloso, hes a quality player and much better than Bolton
 
From Zenit, quiet as usual from Arsenal. Heard he wants 100k and we're offering 80k. Not sure if i really want him or not. Obviously it would be nice to actually buy someone but i think there are other positions tha require fixing first.

Apparently Rosicky is back in training!!!! Wonder how long till he's knackers himself again.

Zenit also said a few weeks ago that terms where agreed, and it was just the fee to be sorted, so it just sounds like BS from them really.

Rosicky won't be around till next season I suspect.
 
Yeah between Zenit and Arshavins agent we seem to have been fed pretty much every possibility, i with you and think it's all a load of rubbish.

I think Arsene has denied that a fee has been agreed. Supposed to be on SSN soon.

Will be suprised if anyone comes in before the deadline.

They're playing games until the window, in hope that City will come in with more money.

My bet is Arshavin will not move to anyone until the last 1-2 days of the window.

If Wenger doesn't buy anyone though, he's an idiot. If not finishing in the CL isn't enough to worry him about his squad then what will.

Pretty sure that he's not gonna go to City, they're not going to be good for a few years yet and by then it'll be all over for Arshavin. He needs a club which will be in the CL for the next few seasons. I don't think he's going to be swayed by huge money since he is already on huge money, I think he's moving for good football. Plus I don't think he's a Mark Hughes type of player, he's good.

I know many disagree but I do think the current squad is more than good enough to qualify for CL IF they were all fit. Again probably not the popular opinion but I also think that they are trying to sign players, its just that we are a lot tighter than most of the rest

With Fab and a couple of others looking likely to be out for most of the rest of the season, some investment is needed.
