Hi

What ways are there of getting hotmail email & exchange email on a E71 on the orange racoon 300 tarriff?

I have heard of using mail for exchange & a 'push' system

What are these and what is the cost going to be like?

TIA

For Hotmail, you should be able to use Nokia Messaging. I use it for GMail on my E71 and it's pretty good. It's free at present.

Mail for Exchange does what it says on the tin but I don't know if there's any costs involved. I assume not.

Bare in mind that both e-mail solutions will run over your operator's network and the network will charge you for the data that you use. There should be a data add-on that you can get (it might even be included with your existing tariff) for around £5-8 per month that will give you enough of a data allowance.

You can get hotmail using the MSN client, it contains an option to download Hotmail emails. Just download and install. It shouldn't use a massive amount of data unless your getting huge emails.

Mail4Exhange (Free) or RoadSync (good but charagable) will let you connect to MS Exchange accounts and have your email pushed across. But thats pretty data intensive. Depending on when you've set the push schedual, you can go through 30-50MB just having your device check for mail. I'd suggest some sort of internet bundle to cover your browsing.
