I cant wait until easter 
Can't help but already feel it will be a let down, since it will never be as good as the old ones. As for finding earth, there won't be anything there surely, lister is the last human? Oh, maybe the energy company since he left his bathroom light on!
What'd be better would be a new series in the same style, but a difference scenario and story with the same actors but not necessarily characters.
I thought series I through VII were great, but series VIII was a bit too cheesy and predictable, a lot of the jokes seemed old.
On a similar note, I saw Norman Lovett do stand up last year, he was very funny, though a lot of the room didn't appreciate his incredibly dry humour.

I only hope they end it then with these episodes. There's not much more that can be done with it and they need to tie up that dodgy s8 ending.

TBH seasons 1-6 were fantastic but 7 & 8 were beggining to strain credulity

Im VERY tempted to get this myself, I have the whole series on vhs but they are getting a bit old and worn out lol. I also have series 1 and 2 on dvd and the rest as divx files. It would be great to have the whole lot on dvd properly.
