Finally, I have a new car to talk about and I am not dreaming anymore....(Yes I know it has been ages Fox, but I took my time getting the right car this time!). I will keep the Golf till I turn 21, then will sell it and fully comp insure the car below:

On Saturday I will pick up (and get better photos) of my new car, so here are the nitty gritty details:

2005 350Z GT4 limited edition with fsh
The GT4 came with Facelift interior (06+ much better quality and more silver!) and facelift uprated engine which produces 305bhp according to the owners documents. The GT4 also has limited edition wheels, which means I now have both sets of rare wheels for the 350z, I just have to choose between them. The car is #162/176 produced to commemorate the launch of Grand Turismo 4 and it is fitted with a embossed plate to signify this.

It also comes with the following GT packaged items:
+Bi-Zenons
+Brembo brakes
+Heated, leather electrically adujustable sports seats
+Cruise control
+Bose surround sound system with sub
+Bluetooth handsfree with steering wheel controls
+Electric folding mirrors
+Luggage nets and boot space splitter

It also has the following additions on the car:
+Genuine Z mats, badges and taxdisc holder.
+S2000 stubby arial
+JWT Popcharger induction kit (quiet until you hit certain rpm, like Vtec)

The car is immaculately looked after and mechanically sound due to the car being facelift parts and only one fault (Boot rods) which was fixed under warranty. The owner did the majority of the mileage and was a forum enthusiast so addresses any tweaks to the car over the 2.5years of ownership. As it is 2005plate, the tax is half that of the facelift, best of both worlds.

More photos to come when I pick up the car Saturday. I also spent a small fortune on Nismo LMGT-4 wheels, Nismo V1 bodystyling, LED rear lights, Eibach suspension and a clear foglight unit, which will all be fitted over the next few months while it is in my garage.

I couldn't wait any longer to tell you guys, so more photos Saturday and maybe a noise clip of the beast :D

EDIT:
It drives FANTASTICALLY. The noise makes me so happy and it is a really nice feel to the handling. Lots of grunt too!

Watch this in HD for an idea of the noise with the JWT popcharger on.

ooo good choice of colour :D
not a fan of the RX8 wheels on it though, the originals are better!

Nice car, but you will be running around in the golf till you turn 21 and the 350Z will be sat in the garage, what happens if someone steals it or the house burns down or perhaps i read the OP wrong.

How did it drive? always wondered how nice these are to drive. and what's the insurance like on it?

Did you pay close to the £15k asking price?

They are limited edition Nissan wheels, I am selling them to put Nismo wheels on.

Wouldnt have been my choice but certainly looks very nice indeed, congrats on the purchase :)

I just wanted something a bit different really, so I am chuffed :)

Aye, certainly an add choice for a 21 year old, I'll give you that. Looks in good condition, How much did you pay?

Don't bin it either, because you'll cry.

£13,200 for it, so a good buy imo. I am also very concerned about binning it too! :p

DAMN! I'm getting old.

This is the typical choice of a 21 year old. I'm 25 and I like my Mondeo! :(

It won't be long till i'm in a Volvo :p

How many 21 year olds have you seen in 350Z's?

I think the question is, how many 21 year olds can comfortably run a 350z? Most will want one but some actually have the balls do it.

Same as anyone's weekend toy really?! Keys won't be kept at home and my Nismo parts are safe elsewhere. I might store the car at work until it's safe to bring it home, but we live in a good area.

Looks lovely, can I ask how much you paid for it?

£13,200 for the car

£13,200 for the car, it was very well priced as the owner is buying a Z4M coupe and part ex-ing Saturday. Insurance is £1600 a year full comp with all mods declared.

I dont actually know any, but at 21 we (my "group", people i knew around my town) all had fast japanese stuff (impreza's, evo's etc), or fast BMW's (330/325), Audi TT's etc etc. The 350z is this type of car and is surely perfect to what your average 21 year old would surely want in a car?

A strange choice for a 21 year old would be something like my S430 (which i bought at just 22) as its a massive old mans barge.
