Any fans?

Obviously hes a bit before my time, but I listened to Harvest a lot on my mothers old Vinyl.

I just turned on BBC4 now and its an old concert. Rather impressive musician :)

Got some classic songs.

Would love to go to some really small personal concerts like in this instance.

He's certainly done some great stuff, apparantly live he can be a bit of a cantankerous old sod but I guess he's earned that right. The Canadians seem rather proud of him as well.

I suggest that you get his Heart of Gold DVD. It is his "Prairie Wind" concert at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium in 2005. It has superb music, a great line-up and a brilliant performance. :)

I love the Neil Young unplugged cd.

I also bought a cd called decade which is a double cd (35 tracks) a few years ago for around £5 = excellent value for great a compilation.

He did an album with "Crazy Horse" called "Zuma", and this would be the album I probably like best from him...

Ah good old Neil Young!! Zuma is a fave. Tonight's the Night is class. I like some of his really old stuff. After the Goldrush (Needle and the damage done) Are you passionate (Differently) Everybody knows this nowhere (Cinnamon Girl)

Some of his 80's stuff really was pap, like Transformer Man springs to mind.

Heavy stuff like Freedom, Weld, Live Rust are fantastic. :D

**** me!!!! What a guy, that was fantastic. Just watched him do it live on you tube. Will have to have a look for some of his stuff. Anything you can recommend?

If you use itunes you should download the studio version of down by the river off his 'sweet dreams:anthology' album.I had it uploaded on youtube, but it got taken down :( The rest of the album is great too.

Live in japan and Hot wires are great albums too.
