Spec me a mouse - Gaming

G9 is on offer right now.

I have a G7 atm but fed up of changing the batteries, G9 is the obvious upgrade and at £5 off this week, its a pretty good price right now :)

Just ordered mine a few hours ago.

It's about preference. I can't stand Razer designs, I'm more of a bulky mouse fan. It would be ideal to hold the mice and get the feel before you buy one.

I also suggest you get the mx518.

I was thinking the same, then i could add a nice mousemat too.

Ok, mousemat suggestions, i do have a large area to work with, but i wouldn't want anything humoungous, budget under £20 please.

:)

Did have a G5 which i thought was great but thought i'd try the deathadder which is also good.
Only negative thing about the death adder is i have big hands and they dont rest to well on it unlike the G5.

Deathadder on a Titan DKT XL.

Tried many mice (mx510, 518, g5, g10)/ mats (qpad, Icemat etc), and these are hands down the best (I have never tried the current lasers - although they poll faster they had problems back when I bought the DA and I havn't even looked into a new mouse after the DA, its that incredible - that said, if they're properly up to standard now, I'd get the Lazechis).

PS. since when is the DA laser - its infrared?

Edit: if you decide against Razer (for some bizzarre reason ;)) then I'd go for the 518, I still love it to bits.

For the Razer mice, if you are a claw gripper, the low profile Diamondback or Copperhead will do you just fine. A big palm gripper, then the DeathAdder for sure.
