Bank want to charge me £27 to wire money...

The Royal Bank of Scotland want to charge me £27 just to wire 10 Euros to Germany. I ordered something from ebay.de and the girl wants bank transfer as the payment method. I didn't realise it was going to cost almost 3 times the amount I am sending :*(

Anyway around this?

No it was only on the german ebay site and you rarely get people selling the t-shirt I am after.

Guess I will have to explain to the seller and hope she accepts some other form of payment.

I asked this question to the girl from my branch and she said I won't be able to send money abroad from digital banking.

If she doesn't have paypal and as a last resort you could offer to send her cash in the post. Just as long as she has enough good feedback and you sending via recorded

This is pretty much the standard charge, no way around it as far as I know for a bank transfer.

Just hope she accepts another method of payment.
