How much of an improvement over the old model,( the first one), is this? and is it worth getting, i have a bit of spare time on my hands at work at the mo, and need something to while away the hours.
I don't think you can run homebrew on the PSP3000 so i would advise against getting it. One of the best things about the PSP is the huge amounts of homebrew apps you can use on it.
The new screen is brighter and has better colours, however the trade-off is that scanlines are quite visible especially on 2D games. That's what I heard anyway.
