9.1's out!

HOW DARE THEY!!!!!

Releasing the 9.1's on time, the 9.2's better not come out on time as well, or be hell to pay, ill fly to Canada and nuke the ********, im not having this, ******* disgraceful!!!! YOU HEAR ATI!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

9.1's are slower than the last hotfix drivers in Crysis by about 4fps for me.

37fps vs 33fps

(Benchmark_GPU, DX10, V.High, no AA, 1920x1200)

unbelievable! and to think.. Nvidia would have released three to four driver packs in the time it took ATi to release this once. Disgraceful ;)

Working here too. Only tried Warhammer (seems a bit jumpy, may have been lag) and tried FSX which would have about 20 mins into a flight if i started to mess around with views. That is fixed (touch wood)

4870 x2

Downloaded and installed on XP x64 with no probs. Just tried BF2 quickly and it seems they've finally fixed the gamma/brightness problem that was causing the screen to flash in dark areas, so I'm happy.

Will try out some more bits later inc. L4D where I would also notice the flashing on some menu/load screens.

back to 8.12 for me , 500-600 less gpu points in vantage and farcry2 now stutters for me on my 4870 . and it seems that the fps is also less in any game i try , why did it take so long to release drivers thats worse performers than older drivers ? . is it time to go green again or will they fix these drivers ?

Couldn't get these to install on Windows 7, had a library and missing INF errors, even after completely clearing out the previous drivers, registry etc.

Got it working now on Windows 7. The driver install fails but it still installs CCC fine, so you have to manually point device manager to the ATI 9.1 folder for the driver to work as well.
