FIFA 09 - Game Discussion Thread

The usual gap is closed, i.e. Darlo's stats are normally in the high 60s, and in club games they are in the low 80s, whereas Barca's stats are in the mid to high 80s (not sure on their normal stats)

maybe your right but i played 6 games in a night and all but 1 quit on me, i laughed the first 2 off but when the other 3 quit i lost the will to play anymore. also sick of players picking man utd or barca (my default is villa) just to have an easy game against me, sickens me tbfh!.

ive played 11 games so far tonight. 9 have quit. i had one quit after it was 1-0 lol.

i go whatever star level team the other player choses. if he goes man u or any other 5 star, i go barca. 4 star its rangers, 2 and a half its burnley etc.

but hey, i just beat the crap out of the online players these days i see it as a compliment that im so good they quit.
 
if people go to manu or barca just press back and find someone new. ive started to play them now though as it can take quite a while to find someone who doesnt pick them.
 
i found the best way to keep people playing you is to let them get a few shots and crosses in rather than just hammering them. I won one last night 5-0 and the guy didn't quit. I just let him think he stood a chance when really he didn't.
 
It does suck but the best way to finish a game seems to be to not win by too big a margin, not that I'm great or anything but people dont like to lose

On another note - do people find shooting is better without assistance? I hate the way the ball carries on rising like its on the moon sometimes, screamers seem hard to come by compared to previous fifas...

just played another 4 games, 3 quit when i went 1-0 or 2-0 up, its not exactly difficult to come back from, PLEASE i need a solution to these quitters as its spoiling the game for me :(

There is no solution just don't play the game if it annoys you that much. I do find it strange you having these problems though, like I've said above about 8/10 quit on me a night. If that.
 
maybe its random then, do you play ranked, unranked or interactive matches(which i cant get the achievement even tho ive won at least 5).
 
Something needs to be done to people who quit...
They need a real punishment, Whenever i even score a goal they leave =[..

Anyone tried the Online Club thing? Me and a couple of mates have a team set up.
 
Bought this the other day for my week off.. got it for £13 with Quantum of Solace for trade in. All i can say is that it's a very, very good game, much improved..
