looking to upgrade my 2900xt

Want to spend about £140 inc vat what is going to give me the best performance increase in that price bracket.

Not bothered if it's ATI or nvidia just want the most bang for my buck as it has to last for a while.

I have a 2900 and i just recieved my 4870 an hour ago. I would highly reccomend spending the extra £20 mate. Just go without for a weekend or something and you wont be dissapointed!

Well took your advice i had looked at the card before but was failing to justifiy the extra money.

So I'll make the extra cash back by selling my 2900xt so I went ahead and ordered it should be with me by monday. Wife is away with business tuesday to thursday so I should be able to get it in with out her noticing, it's a winner

will my corsair 520 hx v2 be enough to run the 4870 with the rig in sig including 2 hdd's?

Guessing from what other have worked out what their systmes are drawing on similar specs. Most probably YES!

I have the same PSU I believe running the system in sig, so yes should be fine.
