I don't own a credit card and never intend to. If I want something I'll save for it or be sure I have the money now.

So you would suggest that a person that demonstrably can't manage their finances get's a credit card? I don't get it.
I really don't understand the hate toward credit cards some people here have. It completely baffles me. As soon as I hit 18 I'll be using a credit card for most things; petrol, online buys, the like. It's safer and I'll need a credit rating after uni in order to even have a hope of getting a morgage on a house!
The Capital One spokeswoman said she believed no customer would suffer a rate increase of more than 6.94%, and that the company would not increase the interest rates of any of customers who are on a promotional rate.
My Capital One card is 0% until September 2009...
Does anyone know how to check your APR with Capital One?
I didn't think that was the APR. Mine is 3.280%. When I opened it years ago it was 5.9% - I don't think it would go down to 3.280%. Is that not a different rate on the statement? It describes it as annual interest rate. Annual percentage rate/annual interest rate, are they the same?
....
on your statement right under the actual activity there is (on page 1) (this is mine)
Standard Purchase Interest 15.110%
Standard Cash Withdrawal Interest 19.330%
Standard balance transfer interest 9.480%
if you have 3.2% then![]()
Lol
Purchase interest is 3.28% and cash is 15.78%.
Hopefully I don't get an increase.
if it does transfer everything to the Virgin or MBNA Platinum Plus card... 0%BT's and super transfers! top notch its a 2.9/3% fee so at your current rate the hassle isnt worth it
Thanks but I've already got two MBNA's, I don't think I would get another one. When I got the second they split my limits.
Your post was like a subliminal message because my Capital One card is a No Hassle Platinum platinum.![]()
