Greetings forum peeps, this is Milo, my Cat. :)

As you can see from the above video, he likes water.

He seems to like all things water - he will happily turn on the taps in my bathroom (!) and climb into the sink, he will also try to get in the bath with me, and, most concerning of all, he will sometimes climb into the toilet!:confused:

I do put water down for him in a bowl, but, his preferred method of drinking is the method he uses in the above video! - He will "cry" for water, ignoring totally his water bowl, only to shut up once I turn on a tap for him!

Any suggestions? :D

I'm damn sure I posted this last night, but, perhaps either the Dons thought it a crap thread or, I just hit preview and never bothered to actually post.:o

My cat does all of the above - except the toilet bit :p

But he does drink from his bowl. You can buy water bowls that create a water flow for fussy cats such as Milo... some cats don't like to drink from still water apparently.

That's brilliant, my cat loves water but not like that!

My dog loves being sprayed with the host, we only discovered that AFTER trying to put him in the bath though...bad day for the floors...

I got a fountain bowl for Rocky and Lola (suitable for large and small dogs, Rocky is a boxer and Lola is a miniature Daschund) for £25 from Pets at Home.

Cheers mate, thats sounds reasonable, I'll check it out. :)

Ive a cat that does exactly the same thing, doesn't like to drink from his bowl for some reason. Ive another cat that loves going out in the rain and getting soaked, but flick a tiny bit of water at him when he's indoors and he runs a mile.

lol @ the cat in the bath :D
Back home one of our cats doesn't mind water at all, dunno whether she would get in a bath though, the other is scared stiff of light drizzle even :p

Get Milo to do the washing up whilst he is there tbh ;)

Another thing about Milo, he's 100% a House Cat (I should have called him Felix!) - he won't go out at all, rain or shine, warm or cold.

The great outdoors just does nothing for him it seems.

He used to belong to my sister, he always drank from taps & refused to go out also!
