I wouldn't buy a ticket, unless you could provide a full build log of how the PC was built, and more importantly, full testing to show that the watercooling works correctly without any leaks etc...

Doing some more reading on this i would have to sell 1500-1600 tickets at £1 each to meet the laws which are in place for raffles and gambling.

proffit couldnt be made so after a certain amount has been raised ticket sales would stop.

a full build log, pictures etc would be present before the raffle and i'd have to pay a £35 charge (i think) for the raffle to take place and each ticket would have to include who i am, what the raffle is for and that ive got a licence to sell the tickets.

Why don't you start by building a pc for £800 first? You could build something that easily plays any of today's games and you'd probably make a profit if you sold the tickets for a fiver each.

Because AFAIK its against the rules to use the forums to make money, and if it was successful, whats to stop anyone else just doing the same thing? The forum would become some mass raffle forum

as ive said above i cant legally make proffit or have tickets for more than £1.

id have to do some research and go see some people (legal) about doing this but i think its worth looking into. i think lots of people wouldnt mind paying £1 for the chance to win a decent pc
