xbox360 - Game Disc Issues

I picked up Forza2 2nd hand over the weekend, and although I'm having great fun with it, it will only start the game if I open and close the tray... I cannot start it from within the menu system... ie browsing through games market place or friends etc, then selecting "play game on disc", it fails to read the disc.

Has anyone else experienced this? and would you return the disc? Or just put up with it?

And it only does it with Forza 2?

yeah that's right, all the other 8 or so discs are fine

weird

but tbh it still works and opening and closing dvd tray isn't really that hard to live with so I'd probably keep it anyway.

how much did you pay for it 2nd hand? as i'd imagine new prices shouldn't be more than £10.

thats a fair comment... paid a tenner to have it there and then... it's 12-15 mail order by the looks of things... but i do like to take a game home to play on a sat afternoon
