If your place had a rat problem, I doubt you would view them as fluffy, innocent animals. My friend had a rat problem and ended up killing well over 100 with traps set in his garden and house - they are vermin and made his life a misery for months.

Disease harbouring, disgusting animals. Mice, I would catch humanely and release - rats = kill.

First of all... id like to say well done to the guys on that hunting spree :P,glad you had an awsome day :P. We did this at a farm i worked at 2 years ago and works well... but as for the "dont kill rats etc etc." **** off untill u actually know what harm they do. I live/work on a farm and have done my whole life. Their a huge problem for us. We store livestock at our farm and if u have rats ******** in the silage and minerals etc that travels through the livestocks system and poisions them... eg... KILLING! Also they

all over the grain which means when we sell it they either turn us down at wiltshire grain and re-deliver it back to our farm and then cant get rid of it unless we sell it as feed to neighbouring farms provideing they want it..... if not were absolutely ****** or pay a massive bill to have it cleaned. so yeah basically.... dont get all panzy on us and start talking about stuff u have never encounterd for yourselfs.

1. It's good exercise for the dogs and it is primarily what they were bred for. It's also good training for them.
2. Dead rats are better than live rats. We often get local farmers calling us and asking us to bring the dogs up to their sheds when they get too many rats about. It's good effective pest control and it doesn't cost the farmer a penny.
3. It's a good day out for us. Certainly beats browsing the internet.

1. A good excuse for what? maybe there where bred for that ... in a less civilised world hundreds of years ago?
2. Says who? not according to the rat, and if you dont make anythig out of it, that makes it even more senseless
3. Says a lot about a person character, how can this be a good day out?

Was this thread posted purely to get a response? if it was you where sucessfull, its an absolute disgrace, this should at least have a NSFW warning in the title, as some people might find it revolting, disgusting, and not something to be splashed across thier screens

I despair, i despair that any sane person could call this fun. There is no need for it, there is certainly no sport in it, and anyone who does enjoy it,should be flung into a hole in the ground themselves, and forgotten about.
