Not sure if anyone interested, but though I'd post my case, from day 1 till now...

Case: Lian Li V2110
Mum board: EVGA 780i
CPU: Q6600 @3.4ghz
Ram: OCZ reaper 1066
GPU's: 280GTX OCX

I had a antec 900 caase that I became very bored with so I decided on the Lian Li.

Put everything in it...

Mounted my Rad.

And Decided it was the worse thing I had ever seen F ugly in fact.:mad:

I moved a fan, removed that Bar Card support thing, To see if it would tidy it up any?

SNV80527.jpg

NO!

This was no good at all, really wanted to have a nice clean looking Pc nice cables etc, like so many of you guys have achieved!

So I hit the shops.

1st thing I did was sort out the bottom Rad! it wasnt really getting much air so I added another fan for some push me pull me action, Had to get a LED :( 140mm fan due to the fact I wanted the reducer from 140 to 120mm.

I also was browsing about and fell in love with those sharkoon silent eagle golf ball fans, so I bought a shed load of those.

SNV80544.jpg

Still looked like a shocking pile of poo.

I put some AKASA sound proofing in to hide all that ugly dull metal next and swapped My IDE optic drive for a sata drive to get rid of bulky cable!

Then I put a few braides on the fan cables to see how much it would help? and added some cathodes (I know blue but I like blue) I also put a larger fan on the North bridge as temps were getting into the 70's this deltakeeps them at 50 now and I've got it running very quiet 7v I guess.

Cooling was shocking in this new case, So I added some front 120mm golf ball fans in lian li hard drive bays but with no hard drives in them. Its helped out loads.

I kept looking at that bar I took out and thinking that I'd like to mount a fan blowing across the ram but didnt want the bar! so I took it to work and cut it up, bought a can of white paint and sprayed the new style bracket, north bridge fan, ram heat sinks, and cpu block and the kitchen work tops.

Braided more cables, White this time to keep some sort of theme going I guess?

I really started to like the way it looked now, felt like I was getting somewhere!
I thought I'd play with some UV lights next, so bought some of those primo coils and had a fiddle, I liked the result so kept them in there, I also chucked them around the bulky GPU power cables as the braiding around them looks terrible. and put some around the main board power, as there isn't really a lot you can do to hide this thing!

Almost finished now, Just the side pannel to go.
Got it cut up and windowed, and the end result is this.
I'm really happy with the finish now! its gone from ugly as sin to what I see as being much nicer now, I just need some mesh to cover a hole in the back and mask of the PSU a bit, (got some small UV ideas for here) Hope you enjoyed. ATB

looks much better :D could try some cable extenders for those few extra cables routed infront of the mobo? I like :) White braid always looks ace.

That looks awesome! As soon as I graduate putting lots of time and money into a pc like that is the first thing I'm going to do!

Do they stock those white fans on OC?

Looking gooood!

I have 3 Slient Eagle's in my Lian Li case and have to say I really like the white/black combo and the white braiding looks great.;)

Yes they do.

Good idea to have a fan controller if you go for the 2000rpm ones as they can be pretty loud.;)

It certainly is, I have 3 x 2000's and 2 x 1000's

the 2 1000's are in the front drive bays and you cant hear them, and the 3 2000's are as follows, 1 on the rad 1 on the harddrive cage and 1 as the exhaust.
The case has a hi, med, lo switch on the back for fans with 3 x connections so I have put the Delta (loudest fan in the world at full power)

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-000-DE&groupid=701&catid=57&subcat=818

and the exhaust and Rad fan on this switch. so I can cool down what needs cooling under heavy loads.

The 2000 on the hard drive cage has a 7v resistor so thats stumped its noise a great deal.

I bought a nexus 120mm to cool the ram etc and just to see what it was like

have to say its a nice quiet fan aswell

Is that a pump mounted directly on your cpu block?
Yeah it does, it was one of these kits I decided to have a play with...

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-028-SW&groupid=701&catid=193&subcat=1038

I found a semi interesting article about it the other day and they mentioned that its basicly this pump sat up on it

"H2O-220 utilizes the Apogee Drive 350 water block with the integrated MCP350 pump mounted on top"
http://www.swiftnets.com/products/mcp350.asp

Cheers for the comments guys glad you enjoyed :D
I've got to get some black mesh for the last bits, like the AC ryan stuff, and i'm going to dabble with some UV paint aswell, if it goes how I imagine it will be ace, but we'll see ???:confused:I dread to think.

I couldn't resist making another so I've started building the antec 900 back up for a 2nd system, got the PSU on the way and HD just the ram and OS to get. Then I got to try work out to get this one looking nice as well! think I'm going to spray it white inside and use red Braid?

nice work, looks sweet:cool:

how long it take to finish?

Um? I got the case finished built like the top picture on the 22nd of november!
I had already all the internals. so 2 months in all I guess. longest thing was the side pannel that took ages. but well worth it

looks VERY nicely done. I have the same case, the window looks fab! Are those fans quite? Im thinking of upgrading mine as the stock ones are a little noisy.

I'd say stock ones were less noise to be honest with you? but on paper the 1000's take it? and im scepticle about the 53cfm? my case is a lot cooler inside than when the stock fans were in there
the 2000's flat out are fairly noisy, but bear in mind this case is sat right by my head so its not gonna be quiet.
if it was on the floor then I wouldn't really notice it I guess?
